In order to monitor the effectiveness of our clinical services, the Child Guidance Center evaluates each youngster in specific areas of functioning at the beginning and termination of treatment, and evaluates the degress of success in resolving the problems that brought the youngster to the Child Guidance Center for help. In addition, the Center asks families to fill out satisfaction surveys.
Data from the termination summaries and satisfaction surveys are tabulated and reviewed on a quarterly basis. Based on the findings, specific recommendations are made for changes in programs, policy, procedures, and staffing to increase the effectiveness and quality of our services and the responsiveness of our staff to the needs of the families who come to the Center for help.
